Cissuslean®

Trust & Traceability

Seed to Shelf: Our Supply Chain

Every batch of Cissuslean® begins with carefully sourced Cissus quadrangularis. Star Hi Herbs manages the ingredient through a controlled supply chain covering botanical sourcing, raw-material verification, extraction, standardization, testing, packing and export documentation.

The Cissuslean® seed-to-shelf journey

  1. 01

    Botanical sourcing

Cissus quadrangularis plant material is selected from approved sources in India and assessed against established procurement requirements. Supplier qualification and sourcing records form the first link in the traceability chain.

  2. 02

    Cultivation & collection

Cultivation and collection practices are managed to provide suitable botanical material while maintaining consistency between procurement cycles. Each received lot is identified and recorded.

  3. 03

    Harvest & raw-material verification

Harvested plant material is cleaned, dried and prepared for extraction. It undergoes checks for identity, physical condition and conformity with defined quality requirements before processing.

  4. 04

    Controlled extraction & standardization

Accepted material is processed by Star Hi Herbs using controlled extraction to produce a consistent Cissuslean® extract with a defined phytochemical profile.

  5. 05

    Batch testing & quality release

Every batch is evaluated against its approved specification: identity, standardized phytochemicals, physical & chemical characteristics, microbiological quality, heavy metals, pesticide residues and residual solvents. Only compliant batches are released with a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis.

  6. 06

    Packing & global delivery

Approved Cissuslean® is packed under controlled conditions. Batch numbers on the product label connect the packed material with manufacturing, testing and release documentation. Shipments include applicable quality and export documents.

Backward-integrated manufacturing

Cissuslean® is supplied by Star Hi Herbs as a manufactured, standardized botanical ingredient rather than an unidentified commodity powder — with analytical testing and batch documentation managed within an established quality system.
